Communications Crew Stipend Assignment

Southeast School District is seeking a staff person from each school building to join the district’s Communications Crew. This is a great opportunity for district staff members who enjoy sharing stories from their school buildings, love social media and understand effective use of technology. Positive attitude required. The goal is that this person would be the school's biggest cheerleader and the Superintendent’s office go-to for school information. The selected candidate will receive a $100 monthly stipend.

 

Responsibilities include:
School Website
•
Alongside the assistant principal/building secretary, maintain your school’s website including the calendar and other edits to keep the site up to date.
Social Media
•
Serve as a Moderated User to create posts to the website and/or social media
•
Share pictures and story ideas with the Superintendent’s Office for inclusion in publications, websites, videos, social media, media releases, etc by submitting content at least twice a month through the Social Media Submission Form
•
Help plan and facilitate building based social media Professional Development sessions.

Class Dojo
•
Assist the building principal with overseeing the building’s Class Dojo account, including posting school stories
•
Serve as the building’s Class Dojo point of contact for your principal and peers
•
Help plan and facilitate building-based Class Dojo Professional Development sessions
Communications
•
Help funnel district communications to your school building
Professional Development
•
Attend three trainings, one-hour each, during the year to stay up to date on the Southeast Delco School District brand, share best practices with Communication Crew members, and expand knowledge on various tools utilized by the Superintendent’s Office related to communications.
